Indoors

With approximately 550 m2 of surface, the villa is very spacious and its typical decoration makes it warm.
You will find a fully equipped kitchen and a counter, ideal for breakfast, but also a large lounge area open on the terrace.


Outdoors

Thanks to the mild Sri Lankan climate, you will mainly enjoy the exterior of the villa, where dining and relaxation areas have been laid out, always offering a magnificent view of the pool and the beach. Spacious gardens surround the house and offer perfect spaces for games or relaxation.
The beautiful palm trees in the garden will allow you to enjoy some shade in the pool, facing the sea.
The main asset of Abyssa villa is its direct access to the sandy beach, where swimming is pleasant, and some waves can sometimes appear, to please those who want to have fun with their bodyboards.


Staff and services

The manager of the villa lives on the spot with his wife in the staff house. He and his team (5 people in total) will listen to your needs and answer your questions during your stay.
Breakfast is included in the rental price of the villa.
You will of course have the choice between a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast, or a breakfast with pancakes, eggs and toppings.
The traditional breakfast consists of tropical fruits, traditional Sri Lankan curd with kitul treacle, toast and of course, Sri Lankan tea and coffee.
For other meals, guests can use a cook to prepare meals for an additional fee ($ 15 per meal for the entire group) + the cost of the ingredients. The cook can prepare traditional Sri Lankan, oriental or western dishes, he will discuss with you daily to establish the menu of the day.

The house staff will be happy to go shopping, or advise you where to buy fish, seafood and other ingredients and will be happy to show you the realization of local dishes.

Notes

The property has two kitchens, a "wet kitchen" where the staff prepares your meals and an open kitchen with bar counter for guests, where you can prepare snacks, prepare drinks or cook yourself if you wish. Filtered and purified drinking water is provided free of charge at the villa. We want to reduce plastic waste by avoiding buying water in single-use bottles. Many jugs of water, glasses and  glass water bottles are available for your use. All bedrooms have mosquito nets.
