Villa Karama is an exclusive and private 5 bedroom villa built on the South Coast of Sri Lanka. The property is set in 1.5 acres of land on top of a small hill overlooking a quiet bay approximately 1km from Dondra lighthouse. The house ensures a get away from it all lifestyle with the amenities of Matara, Sri lanka's Southern commercial hub, only a short tuk tuk ride away. Villa Karama is a great place to base yourself for exploration of the South coast or the perfect retreat to sit in the shade and read a book... The house comes with house staff that will be on hand to look after you as much or as little as you require. A friendly welcome is guaranteed!

Location
The property is set in 1.5 acres (6,000m²) of jungle on the South coast of Sri Lanka. The design brief was to create large, light and open living spaces with a “wow” factor. The built up area of the villa is about 20,000 sqft (1,850m²) so there is plenty of space to either sit together or escape the crowd with a book. There is an existing cottage set below the villa, recently renovated for the owners private use and storage.
The property is remote and there is not much in the way of local bars and restaurants along this stretch of coastline which makes Villa Karama ideal for a get away from it all holiday. Those seeking brighter lights may therefore find this property restrictive.
Notes
There are several beaches near the property the closest being our beautiful bay overlooked from the house and only a 100m walk from the main gate. There is a fantastic year round swimming beach at Dondra just 10 minutes walk away or Talalla Bech which is about a 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride. For larger parties we also have 4 folding beds and 1 cot.

Le personnel et surtout leur qualité de service , leur gentillesse, leur discression
- Sa situation géographique car elle est située entre plage et jungle. Le matin les singes courent sur les terrasses, viennent boire dans la piscine. Les varans et les paons traversent la propiété
