Indoors & Outdoors
In the park that actually is a garden protected by an army of gigantic palm trees, the villa Palo Alto borrows from the south its sheltering roof tiles, and from the modernism, its dazzling white geometrical volumes. Light comes into the interiors through the large south looking floor to ceiling windows and a canopy protects from the sun during the hottest hours of the day. Between the majestic pillars that support this roof, a terrace displays an outdoor living room. The furniture is composed of elegant sofas covered with fabric facing an infinity edge pool. The water, flat as a mirror, runs down a peripheral path decorated with white pebbles.
The indoor living room, with the same very contemporary sofas, is set in the principal space and offers a feeling of vastness. Under its double high ceiling, under its cathedral roof, it is bathed in intense light and supported by great basalt pillars that rush towards the heights. The pillars are a frame to the fireplace. A dining room for 12 people is set just nearby with its “bridge” armchairs covered with very refined fabric. From there, one is invited to gaze towards the outside, a dining space alfresco, sheltered behind potted plants.
Distributed on the two levels of the west wing, all the bedrooms benefit from a terrace that gives onto the sea and a private bathroom. The beds, important elements, stand against practical little walls, favouring the fluidity of an open and luminous space. The villa Palo Alto offers, in addition to its own entertainment complex, a wellness area, a sauna, a Jacuzzi, a gym, and an indoor pool.
