Room 3 - Casa Minaka :
Master bedroom, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed King size. Bathroom ensuite, with 2 washbasins, bathtub, shower. This bedroom includes also air conditioning, dressing room, private terrace.
Room 4 - Casa Maragala :
Room, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed King size. Bathroom ensuite. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.
Room 5 - Casa Maragala :
Room, 1st floor. The bedroom has 2 Beds including 1 double bed Queen size, 1 bunk beds. Bathroom ensuite. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.
Room 6 - Casa Pelika :
Room, Ground level. This bedroom has 1 double bed. Bathroom outside the room, shared, with shower. separate WC room. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.
Room 7 - Casa Pelika :
Room, Ground level. This bedroom has 2 twin beds. Bathroom outside the room, shared, with shower. separate WC room. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.
Room 8 - Chalet :
Room, Ground level. This bedroom has 1 double bed. Bathroom ensuite. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.
Room 9 - Bungalow :
Room. This bedroom has 1 double bed King size. , with 1 washbasin. This bedroom includes also WC.
Indoors and outdoors
The property is separated in 4 different houses. Casa Minaka, Casa Maragala, Casa Pelika all built along side the lagoon and a bungalow, is built by the beach, overlooking the ocean.
Casa Minaka - 3 bedrooms
This house is composed of 3 areas, the first area houses the fully equipped designed kitchen with eat-in area with air conditionning and ceiling fan, a separate laundry room and a separate ladder.
The second area houses a large octagonal living room with a high cozy ceiling of Taubilha wood, hardwood flooring and exclusive decorative details created by the owners-designers, and 2 sitting areas with TV.
There is also a large antique hardwood dining table for 16 people, and a large antique desk with leather boss chair.
And the third area houses the bedrooms.
All windows and doors have mosquito nets.
Outside, you'll find a long veranda overlooking the garden and the lagoon, ideal for breakfast and casual meals.
Two other smaller terraces are located next to the living room, one allows you to relax with the ocean breeze, and the other is perfect for massages and therapies.
Casa Maragala - 2 bedrooms
This house is built on the 2nd floor and offers stunning views of the Atlantic ocean and the lagoon.
A fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast table, the living area features a TV and a desk with its chair.
There are two verandas, one offers a wonderful dining area with a table for 10, and the other offers 4 hammocks and a small table for breakfast.
Casa Pelika - 3 bedrooms
This house was the original fisherman's mud house that was already on the property but rebuilt to offer now all the modern commodities you may need.
You'll find a well equipped kitchen, a living room with a bar counter and a TV. There are many typical little windows allowing the ocean breeze to pass.
This house has also a covered veranda overlooking the lagoon with a wood burning stove and a large counter with a sink, and a dining table for 7.
A chalet is located a couple of meters next to the house and is perfect for those who want to have more privacy.
Bungalow - 1 suite
It offers a kitchenette and has an outdoor hot water shower.
The wonderful spacious gardens overlooking the lagoon are ideal for tropical pink sunsets.
Outside, you'll find several lounge areas, a water fountain and a barbecue grill is on the right. Also by the lagoon, a little cabana for a shady area on the sand by the lagoon (great for the children to play with sand on the shade).
A little quaint mud house has the nautical equipment : 2 kayaks, surfing board, Stand-Up board, and inflatable boats and mattresses, racket ball, badminton, kite, beach chairs and umbrella, etc
There is a two car covered garage and the caretakers apartment behind it who lives in the property. And also a raised car wash area (all roads here are dirt road). A nursery with compost area, and a fruit garden. In a separate service building there is a generator and a tractor (the latter always a success with the boys…).
Private yoga classes can be offered on the grass overlooking the tranquil waters of the lagoon, and under the shade of the big almond tree.
Location
Located on the Peninsula of Maraú, a pristine destination in the state of Bahia, Brazil – a remote area with 43km of continuous white sand beaches on the Atlantic side and a large unspoiled bay on the other offering the cultural experience of the true native relaxed baiano lifestyle in a tropical countryside surrounded with the comfort, safety and pleasures of a modern home.
The land is 14hectares. It is located 100meters on the beach and 1,5km deep all the way to the bay on the other side of the Peninsula with hardly any neighbor’s construction visible from the property. The houses have a very private location, with coconut palm gardens by the ocean and alongside the Cassange sweet water lagoon.
Things to do
Activities and visits are created individually bespoken according to the interest and taste of the visitors. Programs can include river, bay or lagoon kayaking or StandUp, Capoeira classes, private yoga sessions, massages and holistic therapies, surfing lessons, gourmet pic-nic on a private deserted island, visit to a tropical cacao, rubber and flowers farm, moonlight snorkeling, etc. Or enjoy the local attractions to beaches with coral reef pools, snorkeling and surfing, and amazing sunsets bathing in calm warm sea waters, boat trips on typical large comfortable wooden schooner (or motoryacht) on the unspoiled smooth waters of the large bay with visits to small islands for swimming, waterfalls, enjoying its local cuisine, and visit picturesque native villages…and waterfalls.
